From Perry & Lora
We have resisted writing to you as We are sure you have been inundated with Covid-19 emails.
However, we feel the need to say thank you for your support and wish you all the best in what has been for us, the most challenging period of our retail careers.
Like everyone, we are at home with our family including Cooper and Marly. We are abiding by the guidelines of social distancing and letting the heroes in this battle, doctors, nurses and emergency workers get on with the real work. We are grateful for the mail carriers, grocery store clerks, delivery drivers and other essential workers who are risking their lives for everyone.
Our hearts go out to our wonderful team members (some of whom have been with us ever since we opened our doors in 1994). We are grateful for the respect that they have shown to us and each other during this difficult time. We are keeping in touch with them to make sure that everyone has the resources to weather this storm. We appreciate them so much and can’t wait until we are all together again soon.
We are thinking about all of you who own businesses, run companies, have been forced to lay off work forces, had your own salary cut or reduced to zero and generally suffering the economic hardship due to the shutdown that is ravaging our economy. It is incredibly challenging, and we are confident that we all have it in us to survive and come back stronger than ever.
On Tuesday, April 7 and April 14 at 8PM, Pittsburgh is throwing an “Illumination-Ovation” to honor workers on the front lines. #LovefromPGH. Click on this link to find out more details and join Us in this wonderful show of solidarity in our hometown.
We wish you good luck dealing with the challenges we are facing. We are all in this together. These times will end soon, and we are confident that we will be here to greet you in one of our showrooms.
Best,
Perry and Lora
